[2009-2010] Youth University – Social Science Teacher

· Primary role was teaching students between the ages of 10-15

· Key tasks included classroom management and lesson plan creation and execution

· Program was an initiative to promote science as a fun and exciting educational subject by using creative and entertaining modules

· Subjects included: Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Geology and Environmental Sciences

Social Science Teacher

· Teach biology, chemistry and physics to 10-17 year olds, write and (contact details removed) their exams.

· Responsible for the pastoral support for the Year 7 pupils in my tutor group.

· Assist with the school sports events

· Teach AVCE science to sixth form students, which involved looking at science at work where I was responsible for organising suitable trips to industries.
